Denson Plants And Produce

WELCOME!

Good Day, Y’all!

I am excited to announce that we are seriously considering reopening the business this fall in in actual store front location in Ashland City! I am currently reaching out and talking to the community to see if this is a possibility in the next couple of weeks! We have found a possible brick and mortar location, and I have been working with farmers, gardeners, and suppliers across the state for some time now, all I need to know is if y’all would like to see such a venture in our little town!

The goal is to open a green grocer and nursery, with dry goods readily stocked. My hope is 80+% of the goods stocked will be local, whether that means I grow and harvest or work with local farmers. In addition to the store, I hope to get state certified as an agronomist, so that I can help y’all with your agrarian needs, as well as offering free agriculture classes and educating the community in the art of gardening!

This venture will be a huge risk for me. I am a 21 year old college student, majoring in Agriculture Science with a minor in education. This would be my main means of support as i graduate with a bachelors next semester and move onto my Masters. I hope this will be my main mode of income, as well as allowing m to pursue my passion of teaching agriculture and work with the community!

So I need to hear from you! Do you want this green grocer/ nursery/ dry goods store? On the right side of the screen is the survey. I have included a link at the bottom of this post just in case you don,t see it. In a few hours, I will launch across all social media, so watch for me there! I will post an update when I do.

If you have any questions, please feel free to email me! denson.plants.produce@gmail.com . I want all feedback! even if you have suggestions, concerns, or wish to talk business, I cant wait to hear from y’all!

Thank y’all so much for the support in the last 5 years!

Seed Catalog!

Hello!

Many new and exciting things are coming our way this year! In this email alone, blueberry, seed, and seedling pre-orders become available! Let us begin!
Blueberries!
I once again have the unique opportunity to supply you with blueberries! These are all Rabbit Eye variety, meaning they are the best suited for our Tennessee environment. As a matter of fact, most of the late bearing plants I sold last January produced that same year! There are eight types available; Climax, Premier, Prince, Austin, Brightwell, Powder Blue, Tif-Blue, Ochlocknee. For more information on these blueberries, visit my website densonplantsproduce.com. They are 2 years old and a minimum of 2 feet tall. However, I do have 50 each of the Premier, Climax, Brightwell, and Powder Blue. These are 3 years old and 3+feet tall. These will be sold on a first come first sold basis. So order yours as soon as possible!
I need final orders in by 9 pmWednesday, January 10. You can get 1-12 at $8.00 each, 13-24 at $7.00 each, or 25+ at $6.80 each.
Seeds!
I am excited to announce that this year we will have a seed catalog! It is attached to this page. Click the tabs at the bottom left corner of the page to switch between the seed and tree pages. All of these seeds are coming from local, small businesses, so all money from these seeds go right back into the local economy!
If you order by Sunday, January 7, your seeds will be available for pick up January 14th. All seeds are sold in packs of 25 unless otherwise noted in the catalog.
Seedlings!
I am also excited to announce a pre-order seedling program! In the seed catalog you in the far right column, it states whether or not we’ll start those seeds! If you have other seeds you want started, however, we can work something out.
But! We can start in 50ct or 18ct trays! 50ct trays are $18 a tray. 18ct are $20, or $1.25 a plant. Let me know what you are interested in and I’ll let you know when they can be started!
Thank you for reading!

Blueberry Plant Pre-Orders

Hello!
I have an unique opportunity for pre-ordered Blueberry plants! I have 9 different types of blueberry plants. They are 2 year plants, at least 2 feet tall, with the Premier topping 3 feet. The plants are planted in 1.5 gallon pots. The plants set fruit last year, and will set again this year. This year, however, I will have 50 Climax, Brightwell, Powderblue, and Climax that will be 3 years old and 3+ feet tall. these will be sold first come first serve.
The Blueberry Plants that are available are; Climax, Premier, Prince, Austin, Brightwell, Powder Blue, Tif-Blue, Ochlocknee. I would recommend the Premier, as they are larger plants.
I am asking $8.00 each, 12 or more at $7.00 each, or 25+ at 6.60each. ORDERS WILL HAVE TO BE IN BY JANUARY 10th! The plants will be available for pick-up sometime at the end of January. I will set that date soon. I do, however, need to have an order totaling at least 100 plants total, or I cannot get the blueberry plants. Getting that amount should not be a problem, though if I do not get that minimum, I will contact those who have already requested berries. It will be payment on delivery.
If you have any questions, please let me know. I will be posting answers to questions and other blueberry facts on my websites;
Thank you all, and have a Happy New Year!
